MaxGuard Series Standard Specifications

  • A close up of the wire mesh on a white background10 ga. (.135 ) plain steel, inter-crimped and woven into a 1 1/2" diamond mesh. Mesh is then passed through and securely clinched or welded to the channel frame.

Panels are constructed from 10-gauge  1 1/2” diamond shaped woven wire mesh, and securely welded to a 1-1/4” x 5/8” “C” channel frame. The frames feature 5/16” round holes for easy mounting to vertical posts or directly to adjoining panels. 1” x 1/2” Horizontal stiffener welded to vertical framing sides reinforce wire mesh.

  • Vertical Frame: 1 1/4" x 5/8" x 13 ga. steel "C" channel; Horizontal frame: 1" x 1/2" x 11 ga. steel channel
  • Mid-Rail: 1" x 1/2" x 11 ga. steel channel; Hinged Doors: Vertical frame: 1 1/4" x 5/8" x 13 ga. steel "C" channel
  • Horizontal Frame: 1" x 1/2" x 11 ga. steel channel; Mid-rail: 1" x 1/2" x 11 ga. steel channel; Capping: 1/8" x 1 1/4" steel flat bar

    Doors are constructed from 10-gauge 1 1/2” diamond-shaped woven wire mesh, and securely welded to a 1-1/4” x 5/8” “C” channel frame. Welded horizontal stiffeners constructed of 1” x 1/2” steel channel fit above the lockset. Three 4” tall x  3” wide x 11 gauge fixed pin butt hinges are then welded to vertical frame of door, and also welded to a full height  1-1/4” x 5/8” “C” channel (hinge bar).

Locks Options:

Padlock hasp, standard. Marks 3700 Series lockset, cylindrical lever lockset, panic bar, electro-magnetic lock, and electric strike options also available.

 

Hinged Doors: Typically configured in 3'-0", 4'-0", and 5'-0" widths and 3'-0", 4'-0", and 5'-0" depth. The standard height is 7'-0" high. Up to 10'-0" high clear door buck opening is available (ADA compliant).

  • Locks Options:
  • Padlock hasp, standard Marks 3800 Series lockset, electro-magnetic lock, and electric strike options also available.
  • Configured in 3'-0", 4'-0", and 5'-0" standard widths and can go up to 10'-0" width openings. 7'-0" is the standard height, and heights can exceed 10'-0" high.
